Sin

Sin

You are a dragon to be slayed,

Stumbling block to my foot,

Inkblots on blank pages,

A covering atop my light,

Arrows to my heart,

Poison to my mind,

Disease to my body.

But

You are not the end of me.

You can be overcome.

You do not define me.

You are no match for the Light.

You can’t hold me hostage.

You can’t bring me happiness.

You are defeated.
