Gifts for Glory

You are unique. Handcrafted. Everything about you is painted intricately by the Creator’s hand. There is no one like you! When you were born, genes, mannerisms/tendencies, and natural talent were inherited. Then, when we entered into God’s family, spiritual gifts were bestowed upon us. We inherit this supernatural blessing for two reasons: 1. To build up others. 2. To glorify God. We see often in Scripture that we are to love God and love others – it’s that simple! Spiritual gifts is another topic to delve into, but right now, if you know 1 or 2 of your spiritual giftings, think of how you can use them today to encourage someone and to show God how much you love Him by using them for His glory. Using our gifts, even though they’re ours, is selfless. When we focus on the two reasons for using them, we are out of the picture and God and His love are forefront. Allow the Lord to use you and what He’s given you for His glory today. 1 Peter 4:10-11. Romans 15:1-7. Matthew 22:36-40. 1 Thessalonians 5:11. Matthew 5:14-16.
