Driver

The road of life with its twists and turns,

Bumps and berms, its passengers spurn.

Signs and lines with limits by design;

Gas, sudden brake, hazy path, which to take?

Careening or crawling, rising or falling,

I trust the Driver who knows no stalling.

Make way for the designer of the vehicle I ride

Trusting Him, confident I’m on the right side

There is but One Way, though many roads

One Way leading to the final, heavenly abode.
