Memorial Day

In America, we call today, “Memorial Day,” where we remember all who sacrificed to keep our land free. This also means free to worship! I am grateful for all who have protected our freedoms through sacrifice. Psalm 33:12 recognizes that “the nation whose God is the Lord” is blessed. I am also thankful that our nation was founded upon the Word of God. My prayer is that our country remembers God in a way like never before and turns its face to Him. If you live in a country with limited freedoms, take heart, dear ones… my prayer is also for you today – that you find freedom in Christ. Even if you don’t have the “freedom to worship,” may you worship in your heart and know you are thought of and loved by your Creator. One day, in heaven, we will all be free and fully know the extent of what that truly means. We will be together as one nation, truly, from every tribe and tongue. Isn’t that a beautiful thought? Have a blessed Memorial Day, everyone!
