Welcome back to my blog, friend. God calls us different places at different times, but I haven’t forgotten you! I pray everyone is staying healthy and trusting in the Lord during these times. Continue to cling to the Light!
Many (if not all) of us are experiencing a wine-press in life right now… on all sides. I’m there with you, brothers and sisters.
I’m clinging to my life verse now more than ever – Galatians 6:9. Look it up and it will surely bless your heart and soul today.
As I continue to work overtime on top of taking care of my family, I can tend to become discouraged and overwhelmed. When talking with a close friend, who was also a bit overwhelmed in ministry, I wanted to offer her encouragement, but ended up encouraging myself, as well!
I said to her, “Well, we know that even when no one sees how hard we are working and we volunteer hours upon hours for the Lord, we can be confident in those ‘Heaven hours.’”
It slipped out and as soon as the words left my lips, I realized how profound they were.
The time and effort and tears and sacrifices that no one sees, is clocking in Heaven Hours. Think of the verse from Matthew 6:20 about storing up treasures in heaven.
We won’t see an earthly paycheck when we are in ministry or volunteer service or when we sacrifice time for the Lord and His work. We must trust that those hours are seen and the results of our labors will be fully manifested when we reach the Home that God has prepared for us.
Don’t become discouraged when you don’t receive recognition or when the seeds haven’t sprouted yet… you are investing in the greatest Kingdom anyone has ever seen and the King sees every little thing you do for Him and for His Kingdom. Breathe. You are seen. And storing up Heaven Hours is something you will never regret.
Galatians 6:9; Matthew 6:20; 2 Corinthians 4:17-18; Revelation 21:4; Philippians 3:14; Revelation 19:7-8.
