Reflection

There’s so much sorrow, I don’t know what to do;

So much pain, can I really pull through?

I’m listening to You call my name,

But why won’t my heart answer through the rain?

Your promise is all I’ve ever needed,

So life would be easier if I just conceded.

But this old flesh of mine fights the right,

And keeps me from taking limitless flight.
