Plea

I know You are not silent.

I know You do not faint.

Your perfect plan is for us,

So why utter a complaint?

Your strength is unmatched,

And Your wisdom above our own.

So, why do I worry

When You are on the throne?

The cries from my lips You don’t turn away.

The aches of my heart You know before I say.

Keep me from fear and stumbling, Lord,

For I want Your blessed heavenly reward.
