Shipwrecked No More

Pounding, frothing, raging sea;

Epitome of mine humanity.

Thoughts and waves of emotions high.

Iridescent clouds near reflect my sky.

Portals open for beams most bright,

Welcoming mist of ocean’s delight.

Calm the swells or ignite the rage;

Claim the victory or let the battles wage.

Cling to the anchor, my soul begs.

Make way the sails, the mind eggs.

Onto the shore, small frame crashes,

Gasp of breath from the salty lashes.

Cling to the Rock, which is higher than I;

“Shipwrecked no more” is my final cry.
