False Prophets

Profound… When asking my 9-year old what topic I should blog about today, he took some time in my Bible app and came up with two words: “false prophets.” This got my mind spinning… we sometimes have the stereotype that false prophets are crazy people waving sticks saying the world is ending… that’s not necessarily the case. There ARE false prophets among us and they claim that their agenda (most times indirectly) is higher than God’s. My son put it perfectly, “False prophets are people who say that they are the ones from God, but when people see them and are attached to them, they see they’re (the false prophets) not perfect and that they testify the opposite – against the Bible.” This is so key. If there is someone in your life influencing you to the point of turning you away from God’s Word through attachment in their way and words, stay clear. 1 John 4. Matthew 7:15. Matthew 24:11. 2 Peter 2:1.
