The Seed

You planted a seed in me; eternal life’s voice.

Your essence cultivated; my soul does rejoice.

Nurtured forth with time,

Growing roots divine.

Sprouting, springing from confines of earth,

You call me Your own; I know my worth.

Days into years; sturdy You’ve made me

Branches spread wide, as if fed by the sea.

Able to bear the fruit of Spirit,

Thankful to the One who lovingly gives it.
