Battle Ready

Worry looks ahead.

Regret looks back.

Inward is focused

On what I lack.

Outward is weak,

Yet God is strong.

I trust in the One

To Whom I belong.

Striving for peace,

Yet longing for battle.

Looking above,

I won’t be rattled.
