Tendency

Rationalize, prioritize,

Conceptualize and fantasize;

When will we realize

To look at life through new eyes?

Plans can change, schedules rearrange

But when will we listen and be still?

Routes and races,

Challenges and faces;

Swirling thoughts and foreign places;

When we we realize

That through this world are many lies?

Doubt to estrange, we need to exchange

Our selfishness to do God’s beautiful, perfect will.
