Fierce Fight

Oh, how I wish sometimes I could wield

Tangible weapons against our common foe;

Swing an axe or shoot an arrow so they’ll yield.

Want to protect you, friend, from your battle.

We have instructions on the armor and shield;

The armor is personal, but the burden isn’t just yours to bear!

Don’t give up the fight before you’re healed.

Don’t renounce victory before the trumpet sounds;

When every tongue confesses, everyone kneeled.

Suit up! Grab your sword! Rush the enemy

With prayer & worship until God’s purpose is revealed.

Be aware! Be vigilant! Storm their stronghold

Until their ruse is no longer concealed.

The Word is our weapon, faith our defense

Don’t forfeit being a conqueror on the battlefield!

This war is fierce, but it’s not over.

Persevere to the day for which we were sealed.
