Truth in Love

We cannot re-define God. We can’t pick and choose our own truth apart from the Word of God. Those who create their own truth will only be met with turmoil as they attempt to mold their truth to fit their evolving choices and lifestyles. These people will find that they can never be truly happy in their own skin, because what good is truth if it’s not solid and reliable? God will never change and His truth will never change. We can’t be fully grounded until we recognize God’s truth and cling to it. To re-define God and to re-define truth is, in reality, a feeble attempt to become Him. And when humans attempt to become God Himself, know that swift judgement isn’t far behind. I write these words, my friend, because I love you. ©️2019 Rachel D. Lyne
