Why be raw and real about my struggles? Why put myself out there? The answer is simple: to give honor and glory to the One who rescued me during trials and temptation. Experiencing the saving grace of the Lord isn’t a feeling or a passing moment. It’s an every day reality.

Do you perhaps think that relying on the God of the Bible is a thing of the past? Try opening your mind to a fresh and life-changing direction: King Solomon in the book of Proverbs wrote about the Lord being a strong tower for all who take refuge in Him – he experienced the solid protection of God and rested in His goodness. His words, though written THOUSANDS of years ago, are relevant to me (and us!) today.

I wish I could go in depth about each and every moment in my life that proved the reality of God and His protection, but God wants to personally show you how He can supernaturally protect you today…Love you today…Forgive you today…Give you hope today. We all have battles of the mind, heart, and will. Where do you run to for protection? Media? Unhealthy relationships? Substances? Numbing? Yourself? My prayer for you today is that you find lasting and true peace within the eternal ramparts of the Lord. The One who created you wants to wrap His capable arms around you today and everyday.
