For a little moment, the cross held Him. BUT He conquered over it.
For a little moment, darkness covered the land. BUT His light pierced it.
For a little moment, fear overtook those who doubted. BUT God replaced fear with rejoicing.
For a little moment, death thought it claimed Him. BUT He claimed victory for eternity by rising from the dead.
Do you see the beauty in God’s supernatural plan, beloved? When we think the world wins or that evil is too strong, remember the path and moment of salvation. Remember how futile the man-made cross was. Remember how foolish darkness was. Remember the downtrodden hearts from hopelessness. Remember the grave thought it won.
But God.
The same God that proved His holiness, sovereignty, and might is the same God that we put our trust, love, and hope in. Can you be confident that God will be victorious in your situation? In this world? For eternity? There is no doubt.
For a little moment, you may think difficult circumstances hold you.
For a little moment, you may feel the dark around you is too strong.
For a little moment, you may be afraid to trust again.
For a little moment, you may think it’s hopeless.
BUT, beloved…remember who God is and how He redeemed you. And recall that that same God lives within you. Take a breath. And take that next step in faith with the confidence that God is infinite and He loves you with an everlasting love.
