Pandemic Poem

Days of wait and hours of late;

Fear at the door and panic at the gate;

Stay in, not near is what our ears hear;

And it cultivates a pandemic of fear.

Pray for the hospitals who are always open.

Pray for the workers who don’t need woken.

Pray for the sick, their illness to be healed.

Pray for God’s will, because it will be revealed.

Pray for one another in our many weaknesses.

Pray for the masses with their grievances.

Pray for healing of our lands and home.

Pray because we know we‘re never truly alone.
